Product Detail

Description:

China KYN28 indoor metal-clad with drawable switchgear(hereafter short as swithgear) is a complete power distribution device for 3.6~24KV, 3 phase AC 50Hz, single bus sectionalized system. It is mainly used for power transmission of middle/small generators in power plants, power receiving, transmission for substations in power distribution and power system of factories, mines and enterprises, and starting of large high-voltage motor, etc, so as to control, protect and monitor the system. The switchgear meets IEC298, GB3906-91. In addition to be used with domestic VS1 vacuum circuit breaker, it can be used with VD4 from ABB, 3AH5 from Siemens domestic ZN65A, and VB2 from GE, etc. It is truly a power distribution deviece with good performance.

In order to meet the requirement for wall mounting and front-end maintenance, the switchgear is equipped with a special current transformer, so that the operator can maintain and inspect it in front of the cubicle.

Service environment:

  •  Ambient temperature: Maximum temperature:+40℃     Minimum temperature: -15℃.

  •  Ambient humidity: Daily average RH no more than 95%;Monthly average RH no more than 90%.

  • Altitude no higher than 2500m.

  •  The air around without any pollution of duty, smoke, ercode or flammable air, steam or salty fog.

Technical parameters:

What are the technical parameters of indoor metal armored traction medium-voltage switchgear?

Rated Voltage:

  • 24kV: This parameter determines the insulation level and other related electrical performance design criteria for the switchgear.

Rated Current:

  • Common rated current specifications include 630A, 1250A, 1600A, 2000A, 3150A, etc. The specific value should be determined based on the size of the connected load to ensure that the equipment can safely and stably carry and distribute electrical power.

Rated Short-Circuit Breaking Capacity:

  • Typically ranges from 20kA to 31.5kA. This parameter reflects the switchgear's ability to interrupt short-circuit currents. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity must be greater than the maximum possible short-circuit current in the power system to ensure reliable interruption of fault currents during a fault, preventing the accident from escalating and maintaining the safe and stable operation of the power system.

Protection Class:

  • Generally, the protection class is IP4X or higher. The protection class indicates the enclosure's ability to protect against the ingress of external objects and water. An IP4X protection class prevents the entry of solid objects larger than 1.0mm in diameter into the switchgear, as well as accidental entry of foreign objects or tools, thus effectively protecting the normal operation of internal electrical components.

What are the reasons for low insulation at the low-voltage side of a dry-type transformer?
Hi everyone, I’m Felix, and I’ve been working in electrical equipment fault repair for 15 years.Over these years, I’ve traveled across factories, substations, and distribution rooms all over the country, troubleshooting and repairing all kinds of electrical equipment. Dry-type transformers are among the most common devices we deal with.Today, a friend asked me:“What does it mean when the low-voltage side of a dry-type transformer has low insulation resistance?”Great

What tests are required for dry-type transformers?
What tests are required for dry-type transformers?
1 Pre - commissioning InspectionAs a front - line tester, before formally commissioning a dry - type transformer, I need to carry out a comprehensive and systematic inspection. First, I conduct a visual inspection of the transformer body and its accessories, carefully checking for mechanical damage or deformation. Then, I check whether the leads of the high - and low - voltage windings are firmly connected and whether the bolt tightening torque meets the standard requirements (usually 40 - 60N&m

What aspects need attention during the installation of dry-type transformers?
What aspects need attention during the installation of dry-type transformers?
1 Pre - installation PreparationAs a front - line installer, I know very well that the preparation work before installing a dry - type transformer must be thorough. First, I will carefully review the design drawings and technical documents, and check one by one the technical parameters such as the model specification, rated capacity, and voltage level of the transformer to ensure they are in full compliance with the design requirements. Then, I will conduct an unpacking inspection of the transfo

What are the causes of dry-type transformers burning out during operation?
What are the causes of dry-type transformers burning out during operation?
1 Fault PhenomenonI am engaged in front - line fault maintenance work, and recently encountered problems with dry - type transformers. Dry - type transformers have a simple structure, are convenient for transportation, and easy for maintenance. They are widely used in power distribution places with relatively high environmental protection requirements. Because of their good fire - resistance, they can be installed in load - center areas to reduce voltage loss and power loss. The property manageme

Method for Automatic Isolation of Customer Equipment Faults by Load Switches in Distribution Networks
1 OverviewDistribution network safety has long been under - addressed, with its automation lagging substation automation . Using 10 kV intervals of existing substations to set line section points meets future grid needs . Configuration of distribution switches, section switches, and protection must match substation outgoing - line protection for reliability. Fault isolation, self - healing, and restoration are key to distribution automation .Scholars have studied smart distribution network fault
