Product Detail

Product Overview

JDZ18-12R voltage transformer, epoxy resin casting and full enclosed construction, is used indoor for measuring current, electric energy and protective relaying in single-phase or three-phase AC circuit with the frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and highest voltage for equipment 12kV.

The product has the feature of high reliability, low magnetism of core, large creep distance of external insulation and maintenance free etc.

Key Features

  • Precise Voltage Transformation & Measurement:Specifically designed for 12kV power systems, the JDZ18-12R accurately converts high voltage into low voltage suitable for measurement and protection devices. With minimal voltage ratio error, it meets high-precision metering requirements, providing accurate voltage signals for energy metering devices to ensure precise electricity billing. It also delivers reliable data to relay protection systems, enabling timely detection and response to system anomalies to safeguard grid stability.
  • Built-in Fuse for Overvoltage Protection:This transformer innovatively integrates a fuse to quickly cut off the circuit during voltage surges. When the system encounters lightning strikes or switching overvoltages exceeding safety thresholds, the fuse activates within milliseconds to prevent damage to the transformer and downstream equipment, avoiding severe accidents such as equipment failures and fires, thereby enhancing power system safety and reliability.
  • Epoxy Resin Cast Fully Enclosed Insulation:Utilizing advanced epoxy resin casting technology, it forms a fully enclosed structure with excellent electrical insulation properties capable of withstanding high-voltage impulses. This design effectively resists dust, moisture, salt fog, and other environmental factors, ensuring stable operation in humid coastal areas or dusty industrial environments, reducing maintenance frequency and extending service life.
  • Compliance with International & Industry Standards:Manufactured strictly in accordance with 权威 standards such as IEC 6044 and GB 1207-2006 "Voltage Transformers," it has passed rigorous quality inspections and performance tests including withstand voltage and partial discharge tests. Its quality and performance are fully guaranteed, making it suitable for a wide range of power engineering projects complying with relevant standards.

Main technical parameter

  • Highest voltage for equipment: 12kV
  • Rated primary voltage: 11kV
  • Rated secondary voltage: 100/220V or 110/220V or 100V or 110V.
  • Technical standard accords with IEC 60044-2:2003 Part2 Instrument transformers-Part2: inductive voltage transformers

Remarks: Upon request we are glad to offer transformers according to other standards or with non-standard technical specs.

Development of an Outdoor Integrated Low - Voltage Current Transformer
In power grid construction, line losses reflect planning, design, and operation management. They’re key for evaluating power systems. For refined low - voltage transformer area line loss management, accurate line loss counting is critical. So, solidifying basic data, ensuring data accuracy, and proper original data collection matter for analysis. We must also optimize factors affecting collection accuracy, make preventive measures, and boost refined line loss management.1 Current Status of

Ratio Trial Verification Method for Current Transformers
Ratio Trial Verification Method for Current Transformers
Fellow electric power calibration workers, you must have encountered this situation: The nameplate of an outdoor current transformer has been tormented by wind, sun, rain, and freezing, to the point where the transformation ratio is indistinguishable! Don't panic, we have a solution - use a current transformer calibrator and through the “transformation ratio trial calibration method”, we can figure out the actual transformation ratio and errors clearly. Here, taking the SHGQ - DC typ
