Product Detail

Product Overview

JDZ16-12R voltage transformer, epoxy resin casting and full enclosed construction, is used indoor for measuring current, electric energy and protective relaying in single-phase or three-phase AC circuit with the frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and highest voltage for equipment 12kV.

The product has the feature of high reliability, low magnetism of core, large creep distance of external insulation and maintenance free etc.

Key Features

  • Epoxy Resin Fully Enclosed Cast Insulation:JDZ16-12R employs advanced vacuum epoxy resin casting technology to form a fully sealed insulation system with an IP65 protection rating. This structure not only features excellent electrical insulation capable of withstanding high-voltage impulses—ensuring stable operation under normal and transient overvoltage conditions—but also effectively resists dust, moisture, and salt fog. It maintains reliable performance in humid coastal areas with high salinity or dusty industrial environments, eliminating the need for frequent maintenance. This maintenance-free design significantly reduces O&M costs, minimizes power outage time for servicing, and enhances overall power system operational efficiency.
  • Wide Temperature Range Stable Operation:With an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +70℃, it ensures stable performance in extreme climates. High-quality high/low-temperature resistant insulation materials prevent insulation aging caused by drastic temperature fluctuations, maintaining consistent electrical properties. Field tests and long-term applications verify a service life exceeding 30 years, reducing equipment replacement frequency and long-term costs while providing reliable support for long-term power system stability.
  • Anti-Fouling Flashover & High Insulation Design:The external insulation features a creepage distance ≥31mm/kV, equipped with anti-fouling flashover skirts and hydrophobic coatings, making it ideal for Class Ⅲ pollution areas. These designs significantly reduce the risk of flashover caused by contaminant accumulation and moisture. Insulation performance tests show partial discharge ≤5pC, and it has passed 12kV/42kV/75kV power frequency/impulse withstand voltage tests, comprehensively ensuring insulation reliability for safe operation under complex conditions.

Main technical parameter

  • Highest voltage for equipment: 12kV
  • Rated primary voltage: 11kV
  • Rated secondary voltage: 100/220V or 110/220V or 100V or 110V.
  • Technical standard accords with IEC 60044-2:2003 Part2 Instrument transformers-Part2: inductive voltage transformers

Remarks: Upon request we are glad to offer transformers according to other standards or with non-standard technical specs.

Development of an Outdoor Integrated Low - Voltage Current Transformer
In power grid construction, line losses reflect planning, design, and operation management. They’re key for evaluating power systems. For refined low - voltage transformer area line loss management, accurate line loss counting is critical. So, solidifying basic data, ensuring data accuracy, and proper original data collection matter for analysis. We must also optimize factors affecting collection accuracy, make preventive measures, and boost refined line loss management.1 Current Status of

Ratio Trial Verification Method for Current Transformers
Ratio Trial Verification Method for Current Transformers
Fellow electric power calibration workers, you must have encountered this situation: The nameplate of an outdoor current transformer has been tormented by wind, sun, rain, and freezing, to the point where the transformation ratio is indistinguishable! Don't panic, we have a solution - use a current transformer calibrator and through the “transformation ratio trial calibration method”, we can figure out the actual transformation ratio and errors clearly. Here, taking the SHGQ - DC typ
