Product Detail

Product Overview

The FN3 - 12, FN3 - 12R, and FN3 - 12R/S load break switches are high - voltage electrical appliances installed indoors. They are suitable for AC 50Hz, 6kV or 10kV networks to break and close load and overload currents. They can also be used as switches for breaking and closing no - load long lines, no - load transformers, and capacitors. The load break switches with RN3 - type fuses (FN3 - 12R, FN3 - 12R/S) can cut off short circuits and be used as protection switches.This load break switch can be operated with CS3 - type and CS2 - type manual operating mechanisms.

Key Features

  • Multi - scenario Current Control:Suitable for 50Hz, 6kV/10kV AC networks. It can stably break and close load and overload currents, and also support the switching operations of no - load long lines, no - load transformers, and capacitors, covering multiple operation and maintenance scenarios of the distribution network.

  • Extended Short - circuit Protection:After being equipped with an RN3 - type fuse (such as the FN3 - 12R series), it has the ability to cut off short - circuit currents. It can be used as a protection switch to provide short - circuit fault protection for equipment and lines, simplifying the protection configuration of the distribution network.

  • Installation Scenario Adaptation:With an indoor installation design and a compact structure, it is suitable for typical indoor power distribution facilities such as ring main units and box - type substations, meeting the construction and renovation needs of indoor power distribution systems in urban distribution networks, industrial and mining enterprises, etc.

  • Operating Mechanism Compatibility:It supports CS3 and CS2 - type manual operating mechanisms, adapts to different operating habits and existing equipment support systems, reduces the cost of renovation and replacement, and improves the flexibility of on - site operation and maintenance.

  • Mature Technical Architecture:Iterated based on the classic FN3 series, it has stable arc - extinguishing performance, a long mechanical service life, and high long - term operation reliability, reducing the frequency of equipment failures and operation and maintenance workload.

Technical Parameters

Operating Environmental Conditions

  • Altitude: Not exceeding 1000 meters;

  • Ambient air temperature: Not higher than +40°C and not lower than -10°C;

What are the reasons for low insulation at the low-voltage side of a dry-type transformer?
Hi everyone, I’m Felix, and I’ve been working in electrical equipment fault repair for 15 years.Over these years, I’ve traveled across factories, substations, and distribution rooms all over the country, troubleshooting and repairing all kinds of electrical equipment. Dry-type transformers are among the most common devices we deal with.Today, a friend asked me:“What does it mean when the low-voltage side of a dry-type transformer has low insulation resistance?”Great

What tests are required for dry-type transformers?
What tests are required for dry-type transformers?
1 Pre - commissioning InspectionAs a front - line tester, before formally commissioning a dry - type transformer, I need to carry out a comprehensive and systematic inspection. First, I conduct a visual inspection of the transformer body and its accessories, carefully checking for mechanical damage or deformation. Then, I check whether the leads of the high - and low - voltage windings are firmly connected and whether the bolt tightening torque meets the standard requirements (usually 40 - 60N&m

What aspects need attention during the installation of dry-type transformers?
What aspects need attention during the installation of dry-type transformers?
1 Pre - installation PreparationAs a front - line installer, I know very well that the preparation work before installing a dry - type transformer must be thorough. First, I will carefully review the design drawings and technical documents, and check one by one the technical parameters such as the model specification, rated capacity, and voltage level of the transformer to ensure they are in full compliance with the design requirements. Then, I will conduct an unpacking inspection of the transfo

What are the causes of dry-type transformers burning out during operation?
What are the causes of dry-type transformers burning out during operation?
1 Fault PhenomenonI am engaged in front - line fault maintenance work, and recently encountered problems with dry - type transformers. Dry - type transformers have a simple structure, are convenient for transportation, and easy for maintenance. They are widely used in power distribution places with relatively high environmental protection requirements. Because of their good fire - resistance, they can be installed in load - center areas to reduce voltage loss and power loss.The property manageme

Method for Automatic Isolation of Customer Equipment Faults by Load Switches in Distribution Networks
1 OverviewDistribution network safety has long been under - addressed, with its automation lagging substation automation . Using 10 kV intervals of existing substations to set line section points meets future grid needs . Configuration of distribution switches, section switches, and protection must match substation outgoing - line protection for reliability. Fault isolation, self - healing, and restoration are key to distribution automation .Scholars have studied smart distribution network fault
